Jackson Katz’s TED Talk about sexual violence and the problematic term “women’s issue” could make any man a feminist. I hope. I wish he dug a little deeper into these issues, because he can! He’s Jackson Katz! But it’s still important - I’d say it starts getting real good around 10minutes.

“Women & Gender Studies” is a bad name. The major should be called “Power & Gender Studies.” Studying gender is about who has access to and who is denied power, it’s not about studying women. An obviously example is rape… Rape has nothing to do with women. It’s not a women’s issue. It’s an issue of how power is constructed in society.
